Rainbow of Flowers
by Stephen Sheridan Boland IV

Wherever in my travels I go,
When I look straight, above, or below,
I am greeted by a nice rainbow.
A rainbow I hope more folks will know.

This rainbow is comprised of nice flowers
with beauty that shifts on through the hours,
changing with sunlight and rain showers
revealing many beautiful powers.

This rainbow is in the trees that grow.
It is close to the firm ground so low.
Ahead in sunflowers the winds blow.
It's in more places than we can know.

The rainbow has colors truly immense,
ranging from quite mild to quite intense,
and in it's so very colorful scents.
Cascade of colors which never relents.

All the way up to a mountain height.
New flowers can be seen day and night.
People say the rainbow is finite,
but I am not so sure they are right.

Although it is sometimes damaged, no sword
can end the rainbow many have toured
through ages seeing of their own accord.
Beauty even the most poor can afford.
